Brandi began her healthcare career in 1995 after earning her Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification from Kauai Community College. While attending Southern Oklahoma Technology Center, she worked as a CNA in Ardmore, Oklahoma, gaining valuable hands-on experience in patient care while pursuing her nursing education.
After graduating as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Brandi joined Memorial Hospital of Southern Oklahoma. She later relocated to California and continued her nursing career in a primary care clinic, expanding her clinical knowledge and experience across diverse patient populations.
Brandi earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Fayetteville State University in 2008 and went on to work in both pediatric and general rehabilitation settings, often caring for soldiers and their families. These experiences strengthened her commitment to providing comprehensive, family-centered care while addressing the unique healthcare needs of military communities. Driven by a passion for lifelong learning and advanced patient care, she returned to school and earned her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from the University of South Alabama in 2015. She is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She is an active member of both the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and the Association of Oklahoma Nurse Practitioners.
Brandi's nursing philosophy centers on treating each patient as a whole person rather than simply addressing symptoms. She is committed to providing compassionate, patient-centered care, advocating for her patients, and empowering them to make informed healthcare decisions. She believes that building strong relationships with patients and their families is essential to achieving positive health outcomes and creating a trusting healthcare partnership.
